Senior wordpress developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for leading the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins. You should have deep knowledge of WordPress architecture, coding standards, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end WordPress website development projects.

  • Build custom themes and plugins from scratch using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress APIs.

  • Customize existing themes and plugins to meet client or business needs.

  • Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible, and high-performance websites.

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to define and implement features.

  • Maintain website security, updates, and backups.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues.

  • Integrate third-party APIs and services (e.g., REST, GraphQL).

  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of WordPress development experience.

  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and best practices.

  • Experience with Gutenberg block development and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern development tools.

  • Experience with WooCommerce, multilingual sites, and multisite setups is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and project management skills.
