We are seeking a passionate and organized Purchasing Specialist to join our beauty and skincare brand. This role is essential to managing the end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, and third-party products. You’ll work closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing that aligns with our brand quality and sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate understands beauty industry trends, ingredient sourcing, supplier relations, and is familiar with regulatory requirements for skincare and cosmetic products.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase raw ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods for our beauty product lines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.

Analyze supplier performance and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

Ensure all materials meet regulatory, safety, and brand quality standards.

Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs based on sales and launch plans.

Collaborate with R&D and production teams to align purchasing with new product development.

Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, damage, or discrepancies.

Maintain accurate procurement records and generate cost analysis reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in cosmetics, skincare, or consumer goods.

Familiarity with cosmetic ingredients, packaging, and health & beauty product trends.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficiency in inventory management and ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).

Knowledge of Health Canada regulations and international compliance (e.g., FDA, EU standards) is a plus.
